With over 60 years experience in manufacturing metal and plastic products, Durable Packaging has grown into a complete foil and plastic manufacturing company with product lines in the foodservice, retail, wholesale, and institutional/bakery markets.  Durable Packaging is a family-owned, 3^rd generation company that is located in Wheeling, Illinois.  Durable Packaging’s product line includes: aluminum foil containers, aluminum and plastic trays, foodservice film and roll foil, and interfolded foil sheets. Durable also produces their unique line of clear plastic hinged containers and dome lids for distributors and re-distributors to complement our aluminum foil products.  All of our products are Kosher certified under the standards set forth by the Orthodox Union.

Our start began in the retail and wholesale industries and evolved into offering a complete line of foodservice and institutional foil packaging products.  Our wide range of capabilities include:  private-labeling, producing custom-made foil pans and plastic lids, and creating special case packs and pallet programs.  Durable Packaging has been very successful at developing private label programs for small, medium, and large volume foodservice distributors.   

Our growth of the Durable product line has resulted in a stronger foothold in the foodservice arena and a much wider base of distribution throughout North America..  Through our efficient production processes, high-speed machinery, updated product tooling, responsive customer service, and aggressive go-to-market strategy we are able to offer the most competitive pricing without compromising the quality of our products.  Additionally, our manufacturing plant was audited and awarded a “SUPERIOR” rating from the American Institute of Baking (AIB) for the 5^th year in a row.
